This might be a bit long so please bear with me. This is by far the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to write but nevertheless here I am. Before I begin I want to express my deepest possible gratitude at the encouragement that each of you have shown in the lifespan of this business. This community means more to me than I will ever fully be able to put into words, which makes what I’m about to say all the more difficult. I’ve decided to close the studio at the end of the year. There are several factors that have gone into this decision that I won’t go into here, but please know that this has been thought out, thought through, and cried over for the past few months. One of my favorite sayings is “You can’t pour from an empty cup”, but my cup has been empty for awhile and it is time I take my own advice. BUT the good news is that just because these four walls will no longer hold our rare birds, that doesn’t mean that we are going to stop teaching. There are already a few things in the works and I will be keeping everyone updated about where each of our instructors end up. The one thing I don’t want is for the relationships that we’ve built to end just because we are no longer in this building. You’ll still be able to come to our classes and we will still be around.
Next, you are probably wondering how this will work as far as monthly memberships/class passes.
We will be honoring all class passes and monthly memberships until the doors close (our last day will be December 30th). BUT after November 30th, monthly auto-pay passes will not renew (meaning that your last monthly auto-pay will be in November). We will still be selling class passes up until the doors close. Please make sure you use all your classes as we will not be offering refunds if you don’t use them by the end of the year. Even typing this out feels impossible. But the new year is the start of fresh new beginnings and I’m hopeful for this next chapter. Be on the lookout for announcements about where to find each of us as we continue our teaching journey.
Thank you for trusting me with your yoga practice. Speaking from a personal experience I found yoga at a time when my body and mind needed it the most and it has never left me empty handed. I hope you experienced and continue to experience that same fulfillment from your own practice and that one way or another we can continue on this journey together. As always if you have any questions at all please feel free to reach out.
Namaste, the light in me truly does honor and love the light in you.
